Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I am Nutella, because I am the sweetest and good for you too!
Thank you for checking out my profile, I hope you like what you see. I am an active young girl. I love nothing better than to go for a run or a hike with my people. Playing games that I can get exercise and fun is the best.
All dogs are fun to play with!. I love balls and teething rings are my favorite; you know the ones you can have for babies? I will even return them to you if you throw them for me. I am pretty possessive of my toys and may not want to share them with other dogs.
I am a smart girl, I learned how to use the doggie door to go outside for potty all by myself!
Like I said I still have many things to learn but I am working on some basic commands like sit and stay. I know how to give a paw and my foster mom says that is so cute. I walk on a leash but sometimes I still pull if I see something interesting. I still prefer to run free.
Right now, I spend a lot of time outside but I really would like to have a house to be in all the time.
If you like what you hear and think I would be a good fit for your family, fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.
Lots of love to give. Nutella To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is on our website at: https://hope4lapawz.org/adoption-process/
Once approved, we establish transport for your dog and work out delivery which is usually to an airport near your city (unless you are here in La Paz).
Adoption fees are $400 USD and transport fees are typically a flat $300 to any city that Alaska Airlines flies direct from San Diego. Adoptions for dogs to be living in Mexico are $1500 + Transport Fees.
Dogs traveling outside of Mexico are certified and have all appropriate documentation, shots, tests, and exams. In addition to the rescuing and medical rehabilitation of these dogs, we have regular training classes for the dogs to encourage socialization as well as leash and crate training while they are in their foster homes awaiting adoption.
Our adoption team supplies information, and tools, recommended training books. They also perform periodic adoption follow ups and assistance for adoptive families. We want each of our dogs to be set up for success in their new home. Our goal is to provide adopters with a complete package of rescue, care, and adoption support to promote a successful, happy life for you and your new dog.
If you have any other questions, you can contact a member of our Adoption Team at adoptions@hope4lapawz.org and we’ll get right back to you.

More about this rescue
We are an all-volunteer organization in La Paz, BCS, Mexico, and include local community of rescuers (called "rescatistas"). Dogs that are rescued from the streets are fostered in homes where they are treated as members of the family. They are often fostered with other dogs and sometimes cats and children.
Our organization encourages more in the community to rescue and foster by offering a support system of food, medical care, and professional training. As rescuers get involved, they educate their neighbors, family, and friends about the importance of proper animal care, spaying/ neutering, and thus help to break the cycle of abuse and neglect.
We are always in need of volunteers here in Mexico, in the US, and in Canada. Visit our volunteer page for more details about getting involved -- so you can help us make a difference! https://hope4lapawz.org/volunteer/
