Have you been searching for a young pup who looks like (and embodies) a grumpy old man?? (he’s really a giant softy) Pongo will chase those squirrels off your property and then hop up on his lawn chair to keep watch!

Pongo is pretty relaxed for a puppy, but still a playful ball of fun! Pongo loves spending time outside chasing his sister. Pongo is a fantastic foot warmer. He just wants a forever human to show his loyalty to. He will gladly join you living the couch potato life, but won’t turn down a walk if that’s your speed. He’s seriously the best!

He loves chew toys and tennis balls. Check him out playing fetch! He’s so gentle and lets his foster mama have the ball! Pongo has really been showing his personality in his foster home and at events. What is not to love about this giant-headed love bug?! He loves to play and then snuggle up with his human. You’ll be lucky to add this fella to your family!

Pongo is currently fostered with some felines. He does like to chase them, so for the sanity of felines, and to set him up for success, we think he would do best in a home without cats. Pongo gets along well with other dogs, but due to his high prey drive would do best in a home without small animals (squirrels be warned). Pongo would also prefer a home without kids.

This smart guy is crate trained and potty trained! Pongo knows that “go to your room” means its time to head to his crate! Pongo is very treat motivated and smart, if you’re willing to put in the time training him we think he can learn anything!

Some of Pongo’s favorite things:
Cuddles, hanging out outside in the yard, taking walks, making his humans happy!
He definitely seeks approval from his humans and loves being told he’s a good boy.
