Saffie is a small girl and so very very soft, a fact you notice immediately because she loves to snuggle. She is a very playful dog, good in a crate, likes her squeaky toys and enjoys the kiddy pool also.

She's shown here playing with her foster brother and just having a good time. Saffie is about a year old, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and ready for a forever family.

We don't know how she is with cats and do not generally recommend heelers be adopted to homes that have them.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Our application is free and relatively short, it is required to meet or adopt.

Approve Application

We look over your application and send to the foster parent to make sure it will be a great fit for you both!

Home Check

This may be done via facetime if time/distance constraints are in place or in person.

Usually done at the same time as an in person home check.

We require an adoption application be completed, after the adoption is approved, a home check is done & the potential adopter may set up a date to have a meet & greet with the pet they are interested in. We ask that you bring all family members and other household pets to this meeting in order to make sure everyone is compatible & ensure a smoother transition for the new family member.

At the time of adoption a contract will be filled out & explained. We require valid picture identification from the adopter also.

Our fees for adult dogs range from $75-125, this includes all vaccinations, microchipping, spay or neuter surgery, a negative heartworm test & parasite removal.

Puppies under six months of age are typically $150 & includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm & flea prevention for the month & microchipping.

Cats & kittens are generally $50 which includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, de-worming & negative FIV testing.

While we do the best we can to accommodate a potential adopters time & day needs we also have to work around the foster parents schedules also.
