My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

?? Meet Blaze: A Resilient and Loving Soul Ready for His Forever Home ??
Hi, I'm Blaze! I'm a 6-year-old male lab mix with a spirit that refuses to give up. Before I came to the shelter, life wasn't easy for me. I wasn't well cared for, and by the time I arrived, I had lost most of my hair. But thanks to weeks of treatment, good food, and lots of love from the amazing team here, I'm thrilled to say I'm on the mend!
I'm now healthier, happier, and 80% of my hair has grown back-and it's only going to get better from here. Despite my rough start, I'm still a sweet, loving, and outgoing guy who's ready to find a forever home where I'll be cherished and treated the way I've always deserved.
I get along well with most other dogs and respectful children, so I'd fit right into a family that's ready to give me the soft spot to land I've been dreaming of.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who's been through the tough times and still has nothing but love to give, I'm your guy!
Ready to welcome me into your heart and home? Visit www.northwoodshumanesociety.org, head to the adoptable animal's page, scroll down, and fill out the dog adoption form. Once we receive your application, one of our Canine Team Members will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet. I can't wait to start this new chapter of my life with you!
