This little sweet potato is Yam, a nine-year-old Havanese mix. A recent Passage to Freedom traveler, she is still acclimating to her new surroundings, gradually finding her footing as she realizes she’s in a safe space. Looking for a family that will be patient with her progress and take the time to get to know her, Yam will undoubtedly blossom into the perfect devoted companion. Often described as being “delightful”, the Havanese are intelligent, good natured and ideally suited to a variety of households. Anyway you slice it, this Yam is a delicious option!
