Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocky & his running buddy, were left on the streets to fend for themselves. They had been wandering around that neighborhood for a while and befriended a kind business owner who made sure they did not go hungry. Thanks to that Good Samaritan who gained their trust, they were taken in & have been in foster care since. He has gained 20 pounds since then and is doing great! He is approx 3 years old & is fully vetted. As you can see in the video, he is a loving playful pup. His running mate has been adopted & now he really needs a furever home too!
Rocky is a completely gorgeous guy, both inside and out! He is full of love and is always in a carefree good mood. His furever family is going to be lucky beyond belief. If you are interested in learning more about this really sweet and deserving boy, please feel free to text or call Alecia Clark, @ 901-486-2850.
We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Tennessee and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. His adoption fee of $275 includes his vaccinations, neuter, microchip and his transport to his new furever home.
Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. We will do everything possible to make sure he is the perfect match for you and your family & will be with you every step of the way.

Steps of the adoption process:
* adoption application
* phone interview with the foster mom
* veterinary reference & personal references
* adoption contract
* adoption fee
Adoption fee:
The adoption fee varies depending on the dog’s age and location. The adoption fee includes all vetting (altering, vaccines, fecal parasite testing, heartworm testing, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, veterinarian exams, microchipping and certified veterinary health certificate) as well as the transport fee to the Northeast or Midwest.
How long does it take:
The entire adoption and transport process takes 1-2 weeks. You should begin the adoption process when you’re ready to adopt your dog.
Healthy dogs:
Furever Homes Rescue’s first priority is the well-being of the dogs. Furever Homes Dogs that were rescued from the shelter have been in a private foster home for at least 2 weeks prior to adoption, and much care is given to insure that any health related issues are diagnosed and treated prior to adoption and transport. During their stay in Southern foster homes, Furever Homes dogs are seen by our veterinarian on several occasions for the purpose of vaccines, spay/neuter, followup exams and final examination and health certificate just prior to transport to their new homes. Your adopted dog's vet records will come with him to the Northeast or Midwest.
Transport:
Furever Homes dogs travel every week or every other week from the South to the Northeast & Midwest aboard USDA-certified professional transport carriers. We utilize the services of several transporters to bring our the dogs safely to their Forever Families in the Northeast or Midwest. Prior to travel, each dog receives a veterinary health certificate, certifying that the dog is in good health with no transmissible diseases. The transport cost is included in your adoption fee. When the adoption process is complete, a transporter will be chosen (depending on your location) and complete information about your Furever Homes transporter will be provided for you.
