For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Three year old Grasshopper is ready to hop his way into your heart! Grasshopper is the sweetest cuddly boy— he’s a total LOVE BUG!!! He’s more of a dog-cat kind of cat. He loves people and being petted and immediately greets you with his wagging tail. He’s a great conversationalist, always listening and has something to say back — just chatting away. He is very gentle and would be great with kids and other cats, too. And oh, does he love playing with toy mice. Grasshopper is a big-hearted guy looking for his forever family. This handsome boy wearing his formal tuxedo attire, will make some lucky family an excellent feline companion.
Grasshopper has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV tested negative.
You can now meet Grasshopper in person at Petco, 440 N. Orleans, Chicago. Applications are available at the store, or email jennyv@fcacc.org.
