Found abandoned at a remote farm in Lewis County, Doug's life took a positive turn when he was rescued and brought into care. Despite the challenges he has faced, Doug has remained incredibly loving and social. His FIV status doesn't slow him down or affect his loving nature. More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
