For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Meet Frida Kahlo & Georgia O’Keeffe of our Artist Litter, an inseparable bonded pair of five-month-old kittens. They came to us with their littermates, Anna Boch, Selma Burke, and Jackson Pollock! The family was found, along with their mother, as strays and brought into a local vet hospital where sadly they learned that mom was positive for leukemia. Unfortunately, three of her five babies also tested positive, but Frida & Georgia were the lucky ones and are negative.
Frida, a striking calico with a heart as beautiful as her coat, is the epitome of sweetness and affection. She's known for her gentle nature, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. She’s a silly girl who likes playing with your hair and getting as close to you as possible.
Georgia, the adorable brown & white tabby, complements her sister perfectly with her playful and loving demeanor. Like Frida, she also enjoys playing with hair but does so with the utmost gentleness. Her affectionate personality shines through as she loves cuddling and spending quality time with her human companions.
Both Frida & Georgia have proven to be good with dogs and children, making them wonderful companions for families looking to add a pair of loving kittens to their home. Due to the diagnosis among the rest of the family, our vet recommends that they be the only cats in the home.
Their adoption fee is $500 and Frida Kahlo & Georgia O’Keeffe are vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed so you must return to our vet in Bethel, CT for that appointment. If you're interested in applying for these cuties, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.
