My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bobbin is an incredibly sweet, snuggly cat, looking to spend many years to come in your lap! He is very outgoing, isn’t shy when meeting new people, and will quickly become your best buddy. He is also very gentle, loves belly rubs and chin scratches, and doesn’t mind a nail trim! At 8 years old, Bobbin is still a kitten at heart. He loves to explore like a good curious cat and to “help” make the bed. Bobbin has a very cute, unique meow that will melt your heart. He’s an all-around great cat!

Surrendered by his previous owner due to an unstable housing situation, Bobbin was living alone in an art studio without regular access to food and water until a friend convinced Bobbin’s owner to give him a better life. He is now thriving in foster care with regular meals and lots of attention and is looking to find a forever home where the love is flowing -- to him and from him.

Bobbin is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and a perfect litter box user. He does not like other cats so he’s looking for a forever home where he is your one and only. He is currently located in Brooklyn near Pratt. In-person meet and greets are encouraged, but virtual ones are also welcome!

Additional adoption info

Our cats are almost all in foster homes. Upon approval of your application (including reference check), we will connect you with the foster parent(s) so that you can meet the kitty you're interested in. If it's a good fit, we'll do a home check for safety issues, and then process the paperwork so that you can officially adopt your new family member!

More about this rescue

We are a network of rescuers in Central Brooklyn (primarily in Bed Stuy, Ocean Hill, and Crown Heights) who help each other out. We do both TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) as well as the rescue and adoption of friendly cats and kittens that we find on the streets. We don't have a physical facility, so our cats are usually in foster homes, or staying with us in our own homes. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats we take off the street, and to make better lives for the ones we return there.
