COCONUT NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT TO LEAVE THE SHELTER. SHE IS AT RISK!

Coconut is a young husky type mix who hasn’t had a lot of life experiences and is a bit nervous of things that are new but she glues herself to her person’s legs and in a couple minutes of realizing the new things are fine she is perfectly content to explore. The leash had her a bit flustered but after some scritches she realized it was a great way to keep track of her person! She loves other dogs and loves to play with them. She would be great with another playful and confident dog to help show her the ropes of everything. She is in a shelter setting so housetraining is unknown but she potties outside consistently so the idea is there. Coconut would be best in a fenced yard since the leash and everything is so new to her but a home committed to leash walks (not tie-out at least initially) and knowing she might be extra nervous at first she would be fine as well. She is in a shelter setting and has been there for some time so is at risk. She deserves better than her young life ending in a shelter. She is about 1 year old, 50 lbs

Requirements: No special requirements

Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives.
