Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
She is a beautiful boxer/American bulldog mix (per dna test) who was out of time in the shelter. Her estimated dob is 3/1/24 and should be around 50 to 55lbs full grown.
London is doing well. She is a typical puppy who needs rules and boundaries. London needs proper introductions to strangers. She is easily redirected to her toys and has been good about not chewing things in the house She does like to dig a little and explore the yard. She is doing great with the other pack members in the house and loves her visits to another foster to play with a group of youngsters!. She is an exhuberant player. And London really likes the water!
We are walking in the neighborhood daily. She is also learning basic commands. She is now on to the Intermediate obedience class and is picking up the commands quickly. London stays in a crate at night and when her foster mom is away from the house. Potty training has been conquered. And London uses a dog door. Car rides are also going well. Cats are unknown.
London's wish list:
1. secure yard
2. no small children
3. Obedience training ongoing
4. Daily walks
5. Continued socialization
6. A playful dog friend would be good too!
Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Our Mission Statement...
Sacramento Independent Animal Rescuers is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our purpose is to aid stray, abandoned, and neglected animals. In addition to animals rescued and adopted by our organization, SIAR is also dedicated to help other independent animal rescuers find their foster animals the loving homes they deserve. To date, thousands of dogs and cats have been rescued and placed into wonderful homes in the past few years. In order to provide these services, we work with the community shelters, rescue organizations, and individuals who have animals with special needs and place these animals in permanent homes after they reach a stage of wellness.
Our mission is to provide loving, permanent homes for animals that have been abused, abandoned, or lost, which otherwise would not be with us today. Many of our rescued animals, especially those that were rescued from the shelters initially had kennel cough, pneumonia, or giardia with the extreme cases having the parvo or distemper viruses. In addition, a high percentage of animals are malnourished and require special dietary demands. We rely on tax deductible cash donations as well as food and other pet supplies that will allow us to continue to save lives!
**** WE ARE IN GREAT NEED OF DONATIONS AS MANY OF THE ANIMALS WE RESCUE HAVE COSTLY MEDICAL PROBLEMS AND ARE CONSIDERED NON ADOPTABLE AT THE SHELTERS - WE HOPE TO GIVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE AT A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE****
All of our companion pets, have been neutered or spayed, given all current vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. This also provides the community with healthier animals and aids in the reduction of the outspread of illness and future homeless offspring.
The adoption fee for animals being adopted by SIAR can range from $75-$100 (for kitties) and $150-$350 (for dogs) depending on the animal and associated costs. The adoption fee helps up recooperate the thousands of dollars spent yearly on rehabilitation and allows us to continue to rescue animals in need.
Please be sure to click on the animal you are interested in. The corresponding biography will let you know which rescuer you need to contact to learn more about that wonderful pet.
Disclaimer: Due to the limited time spent with the rescued animals, Sacramento Independent Animals Rescuers is not responsible for the health, behavior or temperament of the animals listed or adopted by this group.
