Lobo is an independent cat who enjoys observing his human and sleeping throughout the day. If you catch him staring, he will briefly meet your gaze before looking away again. Once he finds a cozy spot—typically a corner or the edge of the bed—he tends to settle there for most of the time. Despite his independent nature, Lobo occasionally seeks attention at night, rubbing against you and relishing scratches, although he prefers anywhere but his belly.
If you touch his belly, he may become agitated, but he won’t use his claws. He also dislikes being picked up, might hiss and growl when picked up. Nonetheless, Lobo is a gentle soul; when food is presented to him, he will meow affectionately and rub against you.
Despite his being sizable fellow with a love for food, Lobo eats slowly and delicately. He is trainable for tricks, knows how to lift his paws when food is offered, and might even stand up to catch his treats. He shows particular gentleness when enjoying lickable treats, carefully licking without biting the package. Lobo remains very calm during car rides, content in his carrier and only occasionally meowing.
If left alone for a few hours, he will eagerly greet you at the door upon your return, meowing for attention. He enjoys occupying your usual spot on the bed when you are away and displays curiosity by exploring and often attempting to hide under blankets during the day. Lobo loves playing with string toys and small objects that move quickly, resembling mice, and he will energetically chase lasers. He has a special affection for toys containing catnip and will even try to open the catnip container himself.
Despite having lenticular sclerosis, which gives his eyes a cloudy appearance, Lobo’s vision is unaffected. He can easily jump onto surfaces and track moving objects effortlessly. This condition does not hinder his activities. Lobo will require dental care regularly to manage calculus buildup around his upper carnassial.
