What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nutmeg is a sweet and spunky tabby whose owner can no longer keep her due to extended illness. She likes to cuddle in bed next to her foster mom. She has been living with another senior lady cat who is quite crotchety, so she should be fine with other cats that are also used to having feline friends (she is not socialized to dogs). Her foster mom says, "She likes Beyond Chicken and Sweet Potatoes wet food and Nutrish chicken, lentils salmon dry food. She is easy to feed. She likes to sleep and is happy to curl up on a pillow out of the way. She likes to be in the room with you but doesn't nag. When she knows you, she likes to sit in your lap and have her ears rubbed - but not for too long. Also if Nutmeg is doing something that you don't want her to do, if you tell her not to (and you mean it) she will listen." She is good with older kids who can respect a cat's space and be patient.
