My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala is a special kitten with her unique markings and personality traits! Dilute tortoiseshells like Nala often have such distinct appearances, and her ginger paw and nose stripe make her even more unique. It's lovely that she's playful with her foster mates; and shows she's social and enjoys company.

The term "tortitude" definitely fits her well—it's often used to describe the feisty and independent nature that tortoiseshell cats are known for. It's adorable that "Queen" Nala demands cuddles and petting; she knows how to get the attention and affection she wants!
Nala can be seen at Catty Shack adoption center Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10-2. Inquiries can also be made through this site or cattyshackrescue.org.
Yavapai County residents only please.
If you were born 1957 or before, please do not apply for a kitten.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) non profit group of unpaid volunteers who have come together to rescue cats from the street. Our group rescues cats already in trouble through abandonment. We saw a need in our community for cats on the street with no advocates to be helped through sheltering, spay/neuter and placement in homes of their own.
