Marvellous Max340 !
Max is a typical young " teenage " puppy, feeling his oats and feeling his boundaries . As with all GSD puppies, he barks first at every new thing , particularly dogs but this is a typical " stranger danger" phase for this age......continued and consistent training will teach him appropriate behaviour , as well as taking him to various and new places to continue his socialisation.
Max340 has had a bit of digestive issues and is currently on a " food trial" to determine if his issues are related to a food allergy like chicken or beef. We should know soon if Max needs to be on a fish based diet for his optimum health.
CATS: Max is currently fostered with cats but tends to fixate on them....and they stay upstairs and away from this boisterous puppy. The foster thinks , if permitted , Max would definitely chase the cats so he is an unknown for cat households. VERY dog savvy cats might be ok but training and supervision would be critical.
This gorgeous puppy has learned to ring a bell when he needs a bathroom break :-) and is also crate trained ! and all of this before he is 6 months old !!!
Puppies are a lifetime commitment , please do your research or feel free to ask questions about Max.
When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please remember :
Up to the age of 8 months old, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard 8-9 work day. Arrangements will have to be in place for 4 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old.
Having someone with them every 4 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process as well as assists with the general socialization of your pup !
If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $350.00
