Zelda is kind of a silly name for a beautiful girl like me, UNTIL I discovered that I was named after the "Legend of Zelda" :) She is absolutely amazing and really TOUGH. Well the game she is in is the TOUGHEST game EVER :)
Ok, well that is what all the preteen boys say about the game, lol....
So Zelda is my name and I IDENTIFY as a tough girl on the outside and a sweet girl on the inside :D
I love everyone and play HARD with my friends.I am so very cute too. I am a great sized girl, about 40#, compact and playful... I want a friend or two in my new furever home. I want a nice house, nice bed and maybe even a fireplace?? I don't think that is too much to ask in this weather!
I was found on the streets during a "stray count" performed several times a year in San Antonio. I was hurt, and the "counter" asked for the rescue to help me and they did!!!
I have been hanging here, am healthy and smart and beautiful!!

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
