My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As of 2024, Monte is 29 years old. He is a palomino gelding. Monte arrived at HAHS in late June 2024, along with three other horses in need of extensive care. They had not received any farrier work, veterinary care, or dental attention, nor had they been given the love and attention they deserved. Despite Monte's condition, he has shown a sweet personality and an interest in human attention. He is currently being adopted out as a pasture pal while we work on evaluating and rehabilitating his health, and evaluating his rideability.
