As of 2024, Bo is estimated to be between 18 and 20 years old. He is a flaxen chestnut quarter-type gelding who arrived at HAHS in late June 2024. Bo has a medical condition called heaves, similar to human asthma, which worsens during the winter months and with extended indoor stays. During severe flare-ups, he may require medication to manage the condition. Bo arrived with three other horses who had not received recent farrier work, veterinary care, or dental attention. Bo is being adopted out as a pasture pal due to having some age-related changes. However, he is still suitable as a horse for your little ones to sit on and be led around by an adult.
