My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Hazel and her sister Lulu came to us from animal control. Lulu could benefit from some training as we don't know their history and they were young when they came to the shelter. She is very sweet but needs more love and attention than we have staff for.

Hazel and Lulu are about 50#. She's just a baby and animal control and the shelter is all she's known. She is waiting on her special someone to give her a chance and love she deserves.

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
