Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie would already be adopted if we didn’t already have a full house. He is a fun loving snuggle bug. 🥰 Charlie’s breed is guessed to be cattledog/German Shepherd/Catahoula mix. He is estimated to be approximately seven months old and currently weighs 49 pounds. He will gain several more pounds as he develops. Originally advertised as a female, Charlie was found as a stray and ended up in a Central Valley shelter with a high euthanasia rate. He is a good natured playful, happy, male curious about his surroundings and, typical of a pup, things fall into his mouth. He is easily redirected to appropriate chew toys. Charlie craves the companionship of humans and dogs. He is affectionate with people and plays well with the resident dogs (both male and female) in his foster home Charlie entertains himself with a ball or kong, walks calmly on a leash and is learning the sit and stay commands. He would benefit from basic training to learn other manners (come, down, etc.). Charlie is crate trained and sleeps quietly at night. Charlie does not soil in his kennel and on his way to being fully house trained. Charlie rides calmly in the vehicle. He is a happy, welcome camper at Camp Bow Wow in Livermore. Charlie has not been tested with children or cats, however there is no indication that he has any aggressive tendencies.
The adoption fee is $350. All Lucky Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, treated to make sure they are flea free, are current on vaccines, and dewormed. A home inspection is required prior to adoption. If you would like more information, email Sue at dogs@s2springer.com. If you decide to e-mail, please tell us a bit about the home that you would provide for him.
