My name is Gemma!

Appropriately named, this Golden Retreiver/Lab mix lovable girl is a true Gem! Hailing from Southern CA, Gemma will charm you with her honey-eyed gaze, beautiful golden locks and affinity for cuddling. She’s an active girl who loves to chase the ball, go for walks and swim.

Gemma is very affectionate and lights up when volunteers approach her kennel. She gives kisses to anyone close enough, followed by a huge grin and request for belly rubs.

Gemma has plenty of adventures left in the tank and is looking for an active family who can keep up with her zest for life and understands she may need some training to hone and perfect her manners.
Gemma has loved the scent training work our team of volunteers works with her on and Gemma would also do great with a person interested in continuing this fun sport.

Gemma would love all the attention without competing with any other dog but likely a distinguished older fur sibling with proper introduction could be a potential fur sibling. . She prefers a home without cats. This loyal and loving girl is ready to find her new forever family!
