Hiya! My name is Isla and I’m a super sweet, petite German Shepherd mix! I’m only 2.5yrs old and really cute with floppy ears. I'm located eastern Massachusetts. I was previously adopted as a puppy from IDGSR, but now my daddy is really sick so, through no fault of my own, I need a new home.

I’m soooo much better than a puppy! I’m completely house broken and know a whole bunch of commands! I’m very well behaved, love all humans (big and small) and get along with other dogs. I’m not sure about cats though. I haven’t met any yet. But if you live in the New England and have cats, I’d love to meet them to see if we could be best buds!

I’m on the smaller size for a German Shepherd girl… only 52 lbs. So I’d do well even in an apartment.

My current family really love me a lot and hate to give me up. They’ve offered to let me visit and take care of me whenever my new family need to travel, so you don’t need to worry about boarding me when you go on vacation!

If you’re looking for a really sweet, well behaved, petite young doggo, I’m your gal!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
