My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Anna! 🐾

Anna is an adorable 7-month-old puppy with a heart of gold, currently looking for her forever home at Angels of Assisi. Despite facing early health challenges—arriving at the shelter with the tick-borne diseases Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis as well as having a condition called bilateral cherry eye—Anna's resilient spirit shines through, and she's ready to bring joy to her new family.

Anna is a sweetheart who adores human companionship and has a gentle and affectionate nature. She loves to cuddle up for pets and belly rubs, melting hearts wherever she goes. Anna is also a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs. She enjoys playdates and would thrive in a home where she can have a furry friend to share adventures with.

At 7 months old, Anna is full of puppy energy and curiosity. She's at the perfect age to learn and explore, making her an ideal companion for outdoor activities like hiking, running, or playing fetch in the park. Anna is eager to be part of an active family that values both outdoor fun and cozy evenings at home.

Anna's journey has taught her the importance of love and companionship, and she's ready to shower her new family with unconditional affection. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to brighten your days and fill your home with laughter, Anna is the perfect match.

Visit Angels of Assisi today to meet Anna and experience her sweet personality firsthand. By welcoming Anna into your life, you'll not only gain a devoted puppy but also a best friend who will bring endless happiness and wagging tails into your home. Don't miss out on the opportunity to make Anna a cherished member of your family. Adopt Anna today and embark on a lifetime of love and adventures together! 🐶💖

Additional adoption info

Find the pet for you at the Adoption Center:
Angels of Assisi’s adoption center is open from 12-6pm, 7 days a week. Adoption Specialists and Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to help you find the pet that would fit best in your family.

Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).

Found the perfect addition to your family? Now what?
The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.

Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
