Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Spike is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin.

Spike is asking for some patience and time to settle as he transitions to his foster home after his owner passed away and he needed to find a new place to live. Spike is a very sweet dog and has experience living with other dogs in his previous home, and now in his foster home too. He is a pint-size cutie who is about nine years old. He is used to sleeping in bed with his people and lounging on the furniture. So far, he has shown his foster mom that he likes to cuddle and will even give sweet little kisses. As his foster mom learns more about him, we will add it to his profile.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
