Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Exactly how much purring can one cat do? Apparently a lot!
We're not sure that Luna ever stops purring. Approach him. Touch him. Yep he's purring. Try to sneak up on him when he's not suspecting, listen. Yep, purring.
Maybe his purr button got stuck on and now it doesn't turn off. Or maybe he is just so incredibly happy all the time that he is rescued, cared for, loved, that he can't stop vibrating with joy.
Luna seems to be a mid-age adult. He was skinny as a rail when we found him. But now he's lean and lithe. His poor little ears will never recover from what they've been through, which we assume was ear mites that led to ear infection that led to hematomas and deformity of the ear flap. So, he might be a little odd looking, but he has about a couple lightyears of purring waiting for his people to make up for any folded ear squeamishness they may have. He will need a family who will pay attention to those little ear knobs because he may be more susceptible to ear infections in the future. Antibiotic ointment usually does the trick.
Luna seems fine with other critters and they seem fine with him. Maybe the second hand vibrations of happiness transfer across space. We know that holding him on your lap or in your arms while that little motor is going is so sweet and lulling; healing according to many resources. He might be you little furry doctor waiting to make you feel all better all the time.
Luna loves being in a house and having all his things--comfy bed, warmth, food and water, a loving hand to touch him, the things he missed for so long as an abandoned cat. But he also still loves to go outside and enjoy the wonderful summertime. So he will need a safe place to go outside. Guaranteed that he has no intention to leave a loving home and family. But being able to enjoy his cat-ness is a great vibration stimulant. And what we want for this boy who has waited and suffered alone so long is to be happy.
Luna is in Wasilla. Please call 907 980-8898
