This helps Heartland Small Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
SpongeBob is a 6 month old bearded dragon. He is absolutely adorable and a joy to watch. When it comes to handling, SpongeBob is definitely in his terrible twos and is a little "spicy". He will be sure to let you know with a little hiss if he is ready to be put down. With time and consistency, he will come around to handling but needs someone with patience while he grows up. He loves eating his dark leafy greens and various vegetables. He eats medium dubia roaches, superworms and hornworms. SpongeBob will require a minimum 40 gallon enclosure for the remainder of his first year but will need a 4x2x2 after that. Cost effectively it would be best to start with the 4x2x2 and he would absolutely love having the extra room to explore. He will require a t5 UVB fixture with a 10.0 or 12% bulb, a basking bulb, multiple hides and as much decor as you can provide for him to explore. He is more than ready for his forever home!
