Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Barkley is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin.

Barkley is an adorable little four year old dog who weighs about eight pounds. In his foster home, he lives with other dogs and enjoys their company. He also really likes the company of his people and would prefer a forever home where his people will be around more frequently. Barkley needs some time to warm up to new people, but once you give him patience and time, you will receive his whole heart and all of his affection. He loves to cuddle and gives kisses as much as he loves to play with other dogs. Barkley is a dog who will want to sleep in bed with his people and not in a crate. He will cuddle right up next to you!

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
