My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JILL is in New England and is available for meet and greets.

With New Year’s right around the corner and the plan is to get back into shape and to work off those holiday treats.… need a buddy to help you get out and moving? If so, we have just the girl for you – JILL!

JILL is an adorable petite little girl who would love to hike and go on walks. JILL is potty-trained and great with other dogs. She loves to play especially in water! JILL can also be a snuggle bug who loves her human time. She gives the best kisses!
JILL does need some training but don’t we all? From what we see on social media these days, everyone should be working on their manners and not just JILL.

JILL is very smart and willing to learn. She would probably enjoy agility if someone was interested in doing that with her. JILL is a very special girl; she can entertain herself if there is a pile of leaves around!

Anyone think JILL is just what they need?

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
