My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chicken Soup, a charming male orange kitty with a heart of gold! This shy and skittish boy took a month to come out of hiding and feel comfortable around his foster family and their other cats. However, once the laser pointer comes out, his true personality shines!

While Chicken Soup isn't a big fan of being touched-except for a gentle chin scratch-he makes up for it with his affectionate nature once he trusts you. He has a big appetite and is sure to let you know when it's food time by vocalizing his hunger, showcasing some impressive time management skills for a cat!

Chicken Soup would thrive in a quiet home with preexisting confident cats, where he can feel safe and secure, as loud noises tend to scare him. With a little patience and understanding, this sweet boy will reveal his loving personality and make a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a gentle soul who needs a calm environment to flourish, Chicken Soup could be the perfect fit for you!

Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours or email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
