My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rhino, your new best friend! Rhino is a charming little guinea pig on the lookout for his forever home. Bursting with personality at 2 years old, he loves to explore, munch on fresh veggies, and chat with his adorable squeaks and happy little popcorn dances!

A social little guy, Rhino would thrive with a buddy, as guinea pigs are naturally herd animals and are happiest with at least one other piggie friend. If you have a male guinea pig or a spayed female, bring them by for a meet-and-greet!

If you'd like to meet our available pets, please check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
