Here's what the humans have to say about me:
June’s dating profile headline would be something in the realm of “Well-mannered girl seeks adventures and cozy nights at home for a fun-filled forever”
June Carter is her name and bully-girl joy is her game. She is a favorite of any and everyone who gets the chance to meet her. It’s her face, her love of a swimming pool, her ability to work a belly rub out of even the most skeptical person, the way she can get even the shyest dog to open up and play. I could carry on but lets slow down and enjoy what makes this girl so special. Take a look at her in action then come back to read more about her!

June is an absolute cutie! She has the dreamy blocky head bully lovers adore. Paired with a body that begs to be squeezed and snuggled. She seeks affection while also knowing, she is free and safe to enjoy all the goodness this life has. Happiness looks good on her too, it looks like the best doggie playmate, a content girlie, and a snuggle queen! with a toy and a soft place to lay.
This girl is playful and perfectly energetic, with a love for a good game of chase. We introduced June to a handful of dogs in order to gauge her level of friendliness with other dogs. She was good with on-leash greetings and playful once the dogs were all in the yard together. You can see it in her, she loves being outside! Maybe she has spent most of life outdoors, we can’t possibly know, maybe she is just the outdoorsy type but I love a dog that is happy and comfortable getting outside. After a couple rounds of chase, June surprised us by hopping into the pool and splashing around! We love when she dunks her whole head in the water like she’s bobbing for apples. Another self-entertaining moment of cuteness! June is a confident girl and gravitated towards the male dogs in the yard, whether it was their playfulness or comfort, she would be best paired with a male with a similar energy level to hers, if there is another dog in the home. The one no-no we have for June’s future home is cats. No cats for June. Her love of a good game of chase is wasted on cats- they hate it and it causes chaos and nobody wants that in the house.
June is also a great companion to take out in public. June was chosen to go to the Houston days of Dogs show two times. To be able to go, you had to be a dog that could handle high stress, big crowds, potential run ins with other dogs, not bark, not stress in a crate, nor show leash or barrier reactivity. June checked all of those boxes. That really says a lot about her personality and how adaptable she is. June could even be a hiking partner! I can see her carrying her own pack on a hike to the lake where she will cool off in the water and get a few belly rubs before hitting the trail to head home for a well deserved nap. Once you are home you’re going to see her roll around, make a nest, and likely sleep with her whole belly to the sky. When she isn’t sleeping she is going to show you that same position but now it’s for belly rubs- her favorite form of affection. June has been around kids of all ages and loves them! This girl is all about love and loves so big. We love how easy going she is and the way she can go from zoomies to cuddles in an instant.
If you are looking for an entertaining and playful girl, June is ready and available for adoption. She is going to make a wonderful companion and encourage you to get out and enjoy the outdoors as much as her.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family
Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
