I like that old time rock and roll… the kind of Pyr Puppy who just soothes my soul! Oops, those aren’t the words, but we have a litter of 9 fluffy Pyr pups who will rock your world! Who is your favorite Rock Star?! -we have them all- Axl, Ozzy, Mick, Bowie, Ringo (5 boys) and Janis, Tina, Stevie, & Aretha (4 girls). Stevie is a silly, fun, lovable baby girl who is always ready for a session of play, or just to be snuggled on so she can give kisses! She is always one of the first to greet her foster mama in the morning ready for the days adventure and of course breakfast—she will even talk from time to time! Stevie loves to play with her siblings and mama, who is teaching her proper dog manners! They are being raised in a home with kitties and other dogs, where they were born on April 10 to mama Cruella after she and their daddy Courage were surrendered to rescue. Stevie and her siblings spend their days romping in the yard, napping, playing some more, followed by more naps; after all – isn’t that what a puppy is to do? Stevie is ready to find her PYRfect forever home where she can begin her big girl training and become the best pyr girl ever! She loves all dogs, cats, and kids and will need a home with a secure fenced yard and large breed male brother. If you love Pyrs and are ready to add a new member to your band, Stevie is taking auditions!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
