My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Monk, a 3-year-old Lab mix with a zest for life! I came to the shelter because my family had a new baby, but I'm ready to find a new home where I can share my love and energy.

I'm great with people and have a very energetic personality. If you love the outdoors, I'm your guy! I thrive on hikes and love being outside, exploring new trails and sniffing all the interesting smells. I've been told I do wonderfully on walks! I enjoy the company of other dogs and have a blast chasing after birds, squirrels, and sometimes even bicyclists.

I'm full of energy and always ready for a fun adventure. I do follow commands and can sit when asked. Despite my high energy, I'm actually pretty easy to walk. Plus, I'm not fearful of new experiences, which makes me a great companion for outdoor activities.

I might be a bit too hyper for some, but with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise, I can be the perfect energetic buddy. I'm super sweet and fun, and I promise to bring a lot of joy and excitement into your life. If you're looking for a lively, loving, and adventurous dog, I'm right here waiting for you!
