Meet Brecken! Brecken is about 2 years old, 63 lbs, and he may have some Coonhound in his mix! In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training, and is learning to walk well on leash. He could go to a home with kids 5+ and other dogs. No cats or apartments, please! He has been treated for Heartworm disease and is now ready for adoption.
His foster says, `Here is your outdoor adventure buddy!! Brecken loves a car ride with his head out the window feeling the wind on his face. He loves long walks where he can put his hound dog sniffer to good use, there will never be a squirrel in the vicinity that he won`t let you know about. He is affectionate but not clingy. He is great with other dogs and loves to have a friend to calmly hang out with. Brecken is smart and could learn a lot more than he already knows.`
He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on December 6th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
