My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name, age, breed: Diesel, 5yr, Boxer mix

Likes: People, Walks, off leash play, treats, cuddles, kisses

Dislikes: Strangers (could benefit from slow introductions)

What would be the ideal home? A home where Diesel could have a second chance at life. He would benefit from an active owner who socialize, play with and give him lots of love.

Good with other cats? Unknown but possible

Good with dogs? Unknown but possible, as long as the other dog is submissive. Diesel is shy and may need several meet & greets at the shelter to ensure the dogs get along.

Good with children? Unknown but no kids under 14 is recommended

Temperament: Diesel is very sweet and affectionate, well behaved and although he can be shy, he's always very happy to see you.

Motivators? Treats

Any commands? Sit, Paw

House trained? Unknown, but his kennel is always clean at the shelter

Crate trained? Unknown

How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 4-6 weeks

Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Diesel came to the shelter muzzle-trained but hasn't been aggressive towards anyone while in the shelter.

Medical: N/A
