Smokey came to us when he lost his home to a fire. His owner was taken to the hospital and did not return. We know he is half Lab from family members. He was obviously loved by his previous owner. He loves affection and just laying around on the sofa watching TV with the children. However, he can change from this couch potato into an active dog when he has a chance to play with the other dogs or the children here. He is a sweet loving dog that deserves a forever home. Please consider giving Smokey the loving home the he is seeking.
Smokey is completey vetted with all vaccinations, he is neutered, his is heartworm negative and on preventative and he is microchipped.

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:
