For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Jupiter is an amazing puppy with a happy-go-lucky personality that is sure to always lift your spirits. She is so silly and loves to play outside and throw around her favorite sticks. Her favorite things are cuddling, zoomies, sticks, pup cups, her cat brother Pip, and her dog brother Carmelo. She is a very good girl and has been super easy to train so far.
She has quite the resume, she is potty trained, crate trained, knows some basic obedience training, and has done great with leash training so far. She does amazing with dogs of all sizes and does fantastic with cats. She has been tested around horses and cattle and left them alone entirely which was great. She's been around chickens and loved to chase them because of the silly noises they make, but she would never touch them. We have taken her to the beach and she LOVED it!! She loved the water and had her first swimming lesson which went very well. She did great being around all of the people. She's been around children once and did great with them then. She's a champ when it comes to bath time and getting her nails cut. She does great in the car and always curls up for a nice nap.
Jupiter would love to meet you and be a part of your family!

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.
San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.
Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.

If you are interested in fostering an animal, please visit our website and fill out our online Foster Application. The more foster homes we have the more animals we can pull off the euthanasia list and the more lives we can save together!
