Meet Rocky!

We don't know Rockys breed but we do know he is a nice smaller to medium size full grown adult. In the mid 30 pounds. Rocky is such a goofy and LOVING personality dude. He has a large scar on the top of his hip/tail base which seems likely he had some physical trauma probably a bite or burn.  He has such a great low key personality who is very docil and grateful pup who plays well with dogs and has not exhibited any behavioral issues. He is also very loving and social with all humans.

Currently fostered in a home with a yard and several other dogs with a couple, they love him and don't understand why people have not applied for this super cool dude *Sadly Rocky is an underdog, not your typical cute looking dog so people over see him* He is crate trained but he sleeps in the 'dog' sofa most nights, he enjoys car rides, loves the beach and has good recall when he knows you. He is a happy dog who goes with the current of whatever is going on and molds well to any situation. Likely will be a good apartment/condo living doggy as long as his adopter is planning on taking him on walks and check out the neighborhood to meet doggy and human friends alike. He has seen cats and did ok with them but has not lived with them, we do offer foster to adopt trials too!

We would love to find a foster or adopter for this sweet gentleman if you are interested in helping Rocky by offering to foster him please submit an application online at ARWOB.org to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you!

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
