Description:
Hazelnut is a DSH solid black kitten. She is the smallest one in the litter. She is silly and entertaining. She purrs when picked up and likes to nibble on fingers and rabbit kick hands when being petted. She always wants to “help” when the litterbox is being scooped. She loves to run, play and snuggle with her littermates and chase the Cat Dancer interactive wand toy.
Words to Describe Me: Super playful, Silly, turns all things into playtime
Favorite Place to Sleep: most anywhere
Favorite Toy: interactive wand toy (cat dancer)
Perfect Day: Anytime I can play is a good day. I need someone to play with though
Kitty's Likes: loves to be held and petted and body massages
Kitty's Dislikes: doesn't like to be restrained, but will tolerate nail trims
Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: petting, holding, interacting
Favorite Treat: enjoys wet and dry food. we have never given the kittens any treats, but they are all food motivated.
Job Title in Foster: Play Monster
When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: someone's best friend
Other Info: While the most plain-colored of the group and most "common" looking as a solid black kitty, HAZELNUT shines with her outgoing personality. She loves to be where the action is and turns every activity into play time. She likely would do best with another cat or kitten in the house or adopted out with a sibling. She will do well in a quiet environment as the entire litter does not enjoy loud noises or sudden movements. I tried exposing everyone to our MIELE vacuum cleaner (which is super quiet) but had to cover their kennel since they freaked out every time I would run the vacuum. Over time, they may become accustomed to loud noises, but they likely will panic on the 4th of July. I suggest turning up the radio to drown out the fireworks noises.
