Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Minnie just loves loves loves soft places for lots of snuggles with her favorite people. This 4-year-old 54-pound terrier mix is low-key and easy. Every once in a while she gets the urge for a zoomie, but they're short-lived and she's ready for her bed again. We think she'd be great as an apartment dog, or do fine if her family worked outside of the home for long stretches. But when you get home, you better be ready to cuddle!
Minnie likes other mellow dogs and cats, but doesn't necessarily want to play. She and her canine or feline friends simply co-exist. Therefore she could be your only pup or she could have a buddy. She is also excellent with kiddos-she really is the perfect dog!
Potty-trained? Check. Crate-trained? Check. Leash-trained? Check. All over good girl? Check!
Minnie is just the most perfect, easy-going, affectionate gal. She can't wait to meet you and test out that soft couch! Please fill out an application. Questions? Email placement@thestreetdogproject.org.

The Street Dog Project is comprised of a small group of volunteers who are passionate about saving street dogs in Dallas, TX. The majority of our team was previously heavily involved at another local street dog rescue but left for various reasons over the years. We wanted to save more lives so "got the band back together". We are an experienced team of rescuers, operating under a new name.
We have a lot of experience capturing elusive street dogs and helping them adjust to life in a loving home.
The dogs are taken to the vet upon rescue so they can be examined, dewormed, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive) and attend to any other medical needs. Life on the streets is tough so a lot of the dogs we take in have beyond basic medical needs. Heartworm, mange, leg and eye injuries are some of the most common medical conditions we encounter.
We are an all-volunteer organization and rely on donations to save lives. Donations can be made by clicking the "donate now" button on our Facebook page or visiting www.thestreetdogproject.org. Thanks for your support!
