For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Lucky Paws Dog Rescue Inc. with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexi is the best friend you have all been waiting for. She is sweet, silly, loving and absolutely adorable.Lexi is loyal to her people and will follow you everywhere you go. She is very attentive and aims to please. This makes training a breeze. She is currently pee pad trained and working hard at going outside. She loves to play tug of war, chase the cat and wrestle with her foster brother(dog). Lexi will sleep through the night in her kennel and/or cuddled up with her human. We have been working on basic commands and getting familiar with the leash.
Lexi truly is a "one of a kind" type of girl and you don't want to pass her up!

Lucky Paws Dog Rescue (LPDR) is an incorporated non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity.
Our group had a dream of forming an organization that focused on what is most important in a dog rescue - the dogs! Our goal is to help as many homeless, injured, neglected, and in need dogs as possible, while working towards larger change for animal welfare on a federal and provincial level.
We are also focused on making this a great experience for our volunteers and fosters, as we could not do this without them! Through them, we hope to not only save many homeless dogs, but also to educate and spread awareness to the general public about animal overpopulation in Canada.
