My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name's Scout!

I'm a handsome young boy, and I'm looking for someone special to share my love with!!!

I didn't have the best start to life, but I'm hoping things are only going to go up from here!

I ended up as a stray and I couldn't find my family anywhere! I was taken to a place called animal control so that my family could find me, but they never came. Then one day I was loaded into a van and taken to Heal Animal Rescue so that I can find a new family to love me!!!

I'm a very nice boy, and I love people. I can be a little bit shy sometimes, but it doesn't take me long at all to feel comfortable around new friends! I do well with other dogs, but would have to meet any potential siblings before going to my new home.

I'm up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and I also have a microchip now!

Please come visit me! I'll be excited to meet you!!!

More about this shelter

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a voice for those that cannot speak. Join us in speaking for those that need us most . . . the animals.
