Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bagheera, a fearless, house panther who's part of a litter of 5... all named after Disney characters. Bagheera is a stunning, sleek-coated, black Domestic Shorthair with chartreuse-colored eyes (that sometimes look amber) and a tiny white patch on her chest. That patch was the only way we could tell her apart from her twin sister, Ariel, for the 1st two months. She is affectionate, gentle, playful, highly-social and LOVES belly rubs!!
This cutie is a very active kitten who become a little Gremlin with Churu treats. If you don't know what that is... think Go-Gurt (in a tubes) but for cats.
We don't know how she'd be with other animals but she sure gets along GREAT with her siblings and the small dog in her foster home!
You'll find her full rescue story chronicled in Photo Album #32 on our Facebook page: Save The Leadwell Kitties... where you find photo and video updates on ALL our cats and kittens!
Bagheera's adoption will include her:
* Spay surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Microchipping
~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~
* Please only contact us if you'll be making Bagheera a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors.
** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!
*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).
Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
