My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Gabby but sometimes I go by Gabriella and Gabba Gale. I am about 17 weeks old right now and weigh about 35 pounds. I think I am probably a Lab/Pyrenees cross, so I am pretty sure I might grow to be a pretty big girl. I have a beautiful snow white, very soft, medium coat and cute, loving amber eyes. I am sure to be very regal and stunning when I grow up! My name comes by good reason as I am a talker, not just bark, I actually like to talk. I think I am the leader (boss) and protector of the bunch here. I am super smart and listen really well, especially for a young puppy. I pay close attention to my foster parents when they call my name and already know the meaning of 'come here', 'where's my girl', 'no ma'am' and other things too. I am super loveable and loyal; I love being right by my foster mom's side and walking and spending time with my foster mom and dad. I really love it when they scratch my chest and belly and give me hugs and kisses...and I give them big pressing hugs and kisses right back. I can be a lap dog some too! However, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy being a puppy. I love to run around the large yard here on the ranch, playing with my brother and sister and some other foster pups here. We go bouncing through the water ponds (I LOVE WATER), play with toys and wrestle together, and I love exploring the many wonders around me on the ranch. There are lots of things to see here; horses, cows, turkeys, geese, and chickens, they get my attention, but they do not bother me, I respect them, and I don't even chase them. We even have some barn cats that I really get along with, now that we understand each other better. I love treats to chew on and toys to play with. I would probably be okay being your only baby but would absolutely love having a fur-sibling to learn from too, remember I have a brother and sister and some other foster siblings that I play with today! We haven't tried walking on a leash much yet, but again...I am very smart and a fast learner. I am getting accustomed to my kennel, taking naps during the day and bedtime throughout the night. I have never been around children.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
