How is this sweet, always happy, smiling boy not adopted? Rescued over 2yrs & 7months ago and still here at Freedom Home😭!!

A little bit about handsome boy Roscoe: energetic 4-5yrs old, dog friendly, didn’t react to my cats through a gate, loves to play fetch, affectionate and so very HaPpY😁, LOVES stuffies and balls with squeakers inside them**makes it his mission to remove the squeakies**which means he also destroys his stuffies🤷🏽‍♀️but doesn’t eat them! Roscoe is house trained, knows basic commands, and is extremely smart and learns quickly! He pulls slightly when on a walk, and will need a bit more leash training, but was not reactive when he saw other dogs across the street. He does well with females but will need a proper introduction and a little patience when meeting males. Once he trusts you - which doesn’t take much time at all- he will bring one lucky family a lifetime of fun, adventures, snuggles, and most importantly LOVE❤️💜❤️💜❤️

You may pick up the pet from our rescue sanctuary or we will bring the pet to your home.

Additional adoption info

Complete an application from our website. Once approved, we will invite you to visit our rescue facility/sanctuary to meet our dogs. If the meet and greet is successful, we will schedule a home check. After the home check, an adoption agreement is signed, an adoption fee is paid, and your new pet will be yours! You may pick up your dog from the rescue or we will bring them to you.

Broken Souls Rescue and Recovery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue facility located in Staten Island, NY. We rescue abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs of all breeds, including the bully breed who are arguably the most misunderstood breed of dogs. We rescue abused dogs abandoned on the streets and rehabilitate them by providing necessary medical care, training, and most importantly, the love and care needed to help them learn to trust again. Our goal is to give abused, traumatized, and neglected dogs a second chance to find love and security with humans who understand their needs.
