Boba's owner is looking for a new home for Boba. She has relayed this information about him and how he ended up with her in Michigan:
Boba was found on the street in Corpus Christi, TX. He was walking in the road, and a friend pulled over and called to him. He came right away and was so friendly and sweet! He had a dog tag, so we called the owner - or so we thought. He said he owned a metal shop, and Boba was a street dog that came around begging for scraps and attention. His workers made a dog tag for him and put the businesses number on it. The man said, "He's just a street dog, throw him back in the street." But we couldn't do that. We took Boba in and wanted to give him a forever home.
Unfortunately, it couldn't last. I recently became a single mother and had to downsize dramatically. I no longer have the time, space, funds, or mental capacity to take proper care of Boba. He is very gentle to humans, fully house-trained, and free from any physical medical conditions. However, he has anxiety. He is friendly to humans, but he will fight other dogs and seems to panic around them. This has been exacerbated by my current living situation, where I am surrounded by other dogs and have to bring Boba outside to go to the bathroom.
Boba is such a special, beautiful pup. He loves shaking hands and finding the squeakers in dog toys (??). He has brought me so much joy over the last few years, and all I want is for him to find a home that can give him the attention he deserves.
Do you have it in your heart to provide him with the loving forever home he deserves?
