My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blanche is the cutest and sweetest floofy girl. She came to us from a city shelter and was pretty sick and very quiet at first. Then all of a sudden in our care she blossomed. Blanche is playful and very fun. She especially likes boxes; she has not yet met a box she did not like. Boxes give her the zoomies, and it is the cutest thing to watch. Blanche also loves attention and wants to sit in your lap and receive endless cuddles. Blanche is fine with other cats so could be in a home with another FeLV positive friend. She is definitely a favorite in the FeLV Suite at the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary, and we hope she can find that special human, or humans, to take her home and love her full time. Come meet this spectacular angel of a cat with just a tiny bit of spice!

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
