My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmitt, 2 , mixed breed. He is a shy tripod who never gives up. He needs slow introductions to new people, but is immediately best friends with other dogs. Emmit relies on other dogs to learn and gain confidence so he would do best in a home with another confident dog. He is scared of small children, and will do best in a home where everyone is 14+.

While Emmit is not a fan of the car, he often loves the destination. Easy hikes, small farmers markets, and dog-friendly breweries are some of Emmit’s favorite destinations. He loves the outdoors and lounging outside. Once he feels safe, he loves to cozy up on the couch and gets so excited to greet you when you wake up in the morning. He’s sweet to the core!

Emmit was likely stuck in a trap for a long time, starving. Once the leg died and fell off he was found and brought to the vet where they amputated the leg. He is adapting, and shows a great deal of potential!

Currently fostered in MA, MA license #0092
