My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmitt, 2 , mixed breed, and 45lbs but should be 60. He is a shy tripod who never gives up. He needs slow introductions but gains more confidence every day and is finding his zest for life again.

While Emmit has moments of independence, he thrives with another dog who can lead by example and help teach him that there are good humans. He needs to go to a home with another dog, no exceptions.

Emmit was likely stuck in a trap for a long time, starving. Once the leg died and fell off he was found and brought to the vet where they amputated the leg. He is adapting, and shows a great deal of potential!
