My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Loui: The Cross-Eyed Cutie with a Heart of Gold!

Hello! I’m Loui, and I might be a little cross-eyed, but that just adds to my charm! I’m the most loving and adorable boy you’ll ever meet. At the end of December, I’ll be 7 years old, which means I’m at that perfect age where I can enjoy all the fun and still be your snuggle buddy. I’m a handsome liver and white Brittany, weighing in at 42 lbs.

Why I’m the Perfect Pup for You:

  • Full of Love: My heart is as big as my playful spirit. I’m here to shower you with love and affection every day.
  • Ball Enthusiast: Throw a ball, and I’ll be the happiest pup around! I love to chase and fetch, bringing the ball back to you every time.
  • Healthy and Ready: I’m up-to-date on all my vaccinations, healthy, and crate trained. I’m ready to join your family and start our new adventure together.
  • Playful Yet Gentle: I get along wonderfully with other dogs and am always up for some fun. But your lap and those ball-throwing sessions are my top priorities.
  • Baths: I love baths and will lay in your lap while you blow dry my hair.

My Ideal Home:

  • Fenced Yard: I need a physical fenced-in yard where I can keep my hunting skills sharp and enjoy some safe playtime.
  • Loving Family: I’m looking for a family who will throw balls for me, cuddle with me, and love me forever.
  • Treats and Toys: Cookies, chew bones, and toys are a must, but I promise to appreciate every moment we spend together, especially when you throw that ball!

A Bit About My Journey:

My previous family had to give me up because they traveled all the time, but now I’m with NBRAN, looking for a forever home that will love me for the rest of my life.  So, if you’re ready to welcome a sweet, loving, and playful boy into your home, I’m Loui, and I can’t wait to meet you and fill your life with joy and love!

The adoption fee for OK/Loui, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $350,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Loui  part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.orgContact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator.

Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Each adopter must complete an application on our website at www.nbran.org. A volunteer will contact you and work with you to find the perfect fit for your family and the brittany. A homevisit is required, as this is the only way we can be sure the right dog is being placed with you. Once the right brittany has been found, we will help transport him we only ask the adopting family to drive the last leg if it is a long distance adoption.
